I Believe..

I believe in Vampires.  Not the ones that they show in movies, I'm talking about the ones that don’t have fangs, or super strength. I'm talking about the ones that even without fangs can suck the life right out of you.

            Have you ever noticed the similarities between the vampires in movies, and the dictators in our history books? I believe that among us there are some people in this world that share the same characteristics as vampires that are portrayed in movies. One large example of this is Adolf Hitler. Hitler became a ‘vampire’ in my opinion not when he became head of Germany in 1933; but when he was in that high position and thought of himself more as a God or King, than a leader of a country, and when he thought of everyone else as a lower class citizen.

In movies vampires think of themselves as superiorities to humans because of who they are. Like vampires, Hitler thought he was superior to every Jew because he was a German. He thought that he was a part of a ‘greater race.’

The vampires I believe in may not suck the blood out of us, but they suck the happiness, reason, and hope right out of you. There are some people out in the world, you eventually will meet, that are more like vampires than you realize. They will suck the every good thing you have right out of your life. Some may use an example of popular kids at school, others may use dictation, and the rest may use something totally different; but I use the Holocaust as my example. Hitler sucked the life out of them and thought he was a great man for doing so. He took their lives and rights away. Then he sucked the happiness out of their bodies. He sucked out their soul; he left them with nothing but a body to roam around in. For some, but not all he even sucked out their hope, the one thing they had left. Just like vampires in movie they will over power you, suck everything out of your body until you have nothing left to give, and then they still feel no remorse.
